For more information about The Compassionate Friends, visit TCF's National Website

The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees.

We extend a special warm welcome to you. We know that it takes courage to come to your first meeting. We invite you to bring a friend or relative to lean on. You will find that it is okay. You will find that it is okay to laugh or cry, to say exactly how you feel, or say nothing at all. Make an effort to come to three meetings.

You will find that... YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

We have all been where you are now. We understand your pain and want to help. If you have been with us for a longer period and are no longer attending the meetings, please consider returning. You could be a valuable help to others, or maybe you've been through something a newly bereaved person is going through now and can share what helped you. Remember, there is great healing in helping others.

We offer a safe place for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings to meet and talk freely about your child and your grief issues. No one is required to speak, but non-judgmental listening is expected.
